BLAKE TILLERY

Blake Tillery is a Toombs County native and currently the managing partner of The Tillery Firm, which he joined in 2013, back then, the firm was named, Smith & Tillery, P.C. (click here to learn more about the history of our firm). A graduate of Vidalia Comprehensive High School, Blake went on to the University of Georgia, where he excelled in civic and educational endeavors. Blake attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served in the Student Bar Association. Blake has a very diverse practice touching on workers’ compensation, real estate closings, probate matters, personal injury, and certain business and corporate matters. Blake married Ashlee Nicole Sharer, an OBGYN from nearby Wayne County in 2016. He’s a member of First Baptist Church.

In his free time, Blake enjoys the Atlanta Braves, the Georgia Bulldogs, and restoring old or dilapidated homes. He and Ashlee Nicole reside in Toombs County.

JANSEN KILLIAN

Jansen Killian, a native of Vidalia, Georgia, joined The Tillery Firm as an associate attorney in 2024. Jansen is proud to have returned home to begin her legal career and is passionate about serving the community that played such an important role in shaping her. She is dedicated to providing practical, client-focused legal representation throughout Georgia.

A 2018 graduate of Montgomery County High School, where she was the salutatorian of her graduating class, Jansen went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from Georgia Southern University, graduating magna cum laude with a distinction in Leadership in 2020. She then earned her Juris Doctor from University of Georgia School of Law in 2024. During law school, she was elected Student Bar Association Class President and competed on the school’s mock trial team. She gained valuable experience through a variety of legal and public service roles, including opportunities to work with Georgia House Speaker Jon Burns, the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, and U.S. Magistrate Judge Epps of the Southern District of Georgia.

In addition to her legal practice, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at Brewton-Parker Christian University, where she teaches business law courses within the Division of Business.

An active member of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia, Jansen is committed to professional development, mentorship, and service within the legal profession. She is a member of the Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy Class of 2026 and remains actively involved in leadership initiatives that support young attorneys across the state. Jansen also serves as President of the Georgia Southern Young Alumni Council and as a Board Member of the Friends of Legal Studies at Georgia Southern University. She is a participant in the Greater Vidalia Leadership Program Class of 2025–2026.

Outside of the office, Jansen is actively involved in local civic organizations and the Vidalia Presbyterian Church. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Georgia Southern Eagles.
